Heartfelt Creations Alumni November Hop

It's time for the HFC Alumni Hop.  For this month, I went for a pretty Christmas card.

By using the beautiful Classic Petunia Paper Collection, I believe I accomplished the "pretty" part.  [Love that color, right?]  I also used the stunning Large Poinsettia Cling Stamp and matching Poinsettia Craft Dies.  I used vellum, and gold embossing -- screams an elegant Christmas card for someone this year...

Below are the participating Designers for this month.  Be sure and leave a comment for the $25 gift certificate to HFC that will be available to one lucky drawn winner.

Have fun!

Seize the Birthday

The option this week -- monochromatic.

For my card today, I went with shades of green.  I used the retired, Clearly Besotted English Rose [with matching dies], along with a sentiment from Penny Black Heartfelt.

That's it for me.  Come on over to the Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along!  Remember, while the twist is optional, it must be birthday card.  See you there~

Dare 2B Artzy Day

I'm over on the Dare 2B Artzy blog today with this card;

I did some alcohol ink playing and loved it so much, I turned it into an ornament.  The Merry Christmas Layered Die is a new die available at Dare 2B Artzy.  I totally am loving the mixed font of this die.  [The price is very reasonable too!]

That's it for me today.  How are your Christmas cards coming along?

Tracy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags - STAMPlorations

I get the pleasure of joining in twice with Tracy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, this time using STAMPlorations!  Sheri's prize is a $46 gift certificate, and also a Christmas Bundle valued at over $50!  [That will be a lot of product since Sheri's prices are so fabulous!]

On to my tags for today's post;
These fun trees are from the Sketchy Yule Trees, designed by Shery Russ Designs.

I colored the images with my Copics.

I wanted a textured background, so I separated a cardboard box lid, and used the inside with some texture paste, and added glitter.  I fussy cut the tree images, and adhered on to the tag.

I like the "snowy" background look it gave my tags, along with the additional texture.  I used some red Sparkle for the ornaments. My tag bases are from the Manila Tags Nesting Dies.

For more amazing tag samples, you can go over to Tracy's Blog HERE.  She has a ton of prizes, and so many samples of tags, you will simply want to grab your cup of coffee and just peruse for a time!  [this tag event started the 1st of November.]

CAS on Sunday #121 & A Blog Named Hero

Today I am joining in a couple of challenges.

For my first card, I am entering this into A Blog Named Hero; CASE a Designer. For my CASE, I chose Tracy Freeman's card.  I love sponging - I love the "glow" that is created.

While I used another company's stamps, I also used Hero Arts Holiday Sayings for the ivy image you see.  This set is retired, but it still qualifies for this challenge [you must use at least 1 Hero Arts product].  Meanwhile, I like my card, and I have yet another Christmas card for mailing.

Here is the card I CASED:

I also went on to play in the CAS on Sunday Challenge #121; washi tape.

I love it when I get to use a supply of something I have so much of! [Those trends! :)]  I used the Hero Arts set Joy Stamp & Cut, some pretty die cuts, and some fun washi tape.

Once again, I had a blast.  Thanks challenges.

We will then post a winner

For my sample today, I made a project that I used as last year's gifts. I think I ended making 7 of them!  Guess what?  Everyone, yep every one of them, loved it!

Just check out how fun [and totally useful] this is!

To make my project, I used the beautiful in-house paper D2BA carries; Modern Bliss and Medallion Bliss, along with images from Totally Tracy Be the Change.

That's it for me -- you should now go to PAM'S Blog to continue on with the hop. I'll be right behind you to get some ideas for Christmas gifts too~
